For 18 years, I worked in the interior design world—14 of those as the owner of my own firm—helping people transform their homes into spaces that brought beauty, function, and joy to their everyday lives.
I loved it. But over time, something shifted. I found myself less interested in tile samples and more curious about my clients’ travel stories. I realized I wasn’t just craving a new project; I was craving a new kind of impact.
Travel had been quietly reshaping my life for years.
It started slow. A road trip or two in a ’92 Toyota Corolla (a true test of patience and air-conditioning), a honeymoon in the Caribbean, a milestone trip to Europe. But somewhere between the backstreets of Paris and spotting lions in Botswana, something clicked. I wasn’t just seeing the world, I was seeing myself more clearly in it.
I planned our trips intentionally, joyfully balancing spreadsheets with serendipity, making sure each detail felt intentional. I even started enjoying the airport logistics and rental car counters (most days). Every journey left me more confident, more curious, more me. And I wanted others to feel that too.
So, I made the leap. I founded WanderOn Journeys to help thoughtful travelers make confident decisions and design journeys that feel intentional, personal, and deeply aligned.
Because here’s the truth: travel isn’t just about where you go—it’s about who you get to be when the noise quiets, the roles fall away, and there’s space to just be. That’s where the magic happens. And when you come home, you carry the best of that version of you back with you. That’s the kind of travel I help my clients create—whether through guided strategy, bespoke planning, or fully designed journeys.
With 40 countries (and counting!) across five continents, I’ve experienced everything from tracking lions in Botswana to getting lost in the backstreets of Paris (on purpose, of course). Some trips were meticulously planned, some were spontaneous, and all of them have deepened my love for crafting meaningful, joy-filled travel experiences for my clients.
